This Flex Line cable offers a host of new options for the construction of transmission and reception facilities. With dimensions and attenuation values similar to those of the Flex Line 7/8" R, this new cable features even greater . exibility to enable its use as a feeder cable as well as a low loss jumper cable. Handling and assembly are made far simpler by the cables minimal bending radii, . exibility and low weight, and the costs of installation are also greatly reduced. In many cases it is possible to connect the base station and the antenna directly without having to

use any jumper cables.

The inner conductor and the outer conductor are made of a copper tube with spiral corrugation. Highly foamed polyethylene forms the dielectric. Polyethylene or a . ame-retardant, halogen-free

Their very good . exibility and dimensions enable simple and fast processing. The inner conductor of these cables consists of either copperclad aluminium wire or a smooth or corrugated copper tube. An outer conductor made of welded copper tube guarantees optimal screening.

These cable types feature ring-shaped (annular) corrugation of the

outer conductor and are marked accordingly with the letter "R". Their

dielectric consists of highly foamed polyethylene. EES manufactures

these cables with an external jacket made of either polyethylene or flame-retardant, halogen-free materials.
